Accommodation

Inside CEFPAS “Citadel” there is a hotel and three buildings with more than 200 comfortable rooms each having a bathtub and/or a shower; each room is fitted with television. Some rooms have fridges with cold drinks. Our hotel is not open to the public, but mainly to participants to CEFPAS’s activities. It has many advantages over others. The conference takes place in our hotel and therefore it is within one or two minutes away from most rooms. The hotel is on a very quiet hill and therefore a peaceful and quiet environment is assured.

CEFPAS’s facilities are completely free of architectural barriers and a number of rooms are specially equipped for disable people.

Rooms at CEFPAS are simple but clean and luminous.
In our opinion this is perhaps the best cost-effective solution.

Room

Breakfast

Breakfast at CEFPAS is usually a continental one including fruit juice, tea/coffee/cappuccinos and a delicious variety of freshly baked Sicilian pastries. When international guests are present, breakfast usually goes international and it includes: cheeses, cold meats, cereals, fruits and other delicacies. A question is asked in the registration form regarding any special dietary requirements and, generally, we do our best to accommodate such requests. Our motto is: “our guests come first!”

 Telephone

It is not possible to make outside phone calls from the telephones in our hotel rooms but calls can be received. Internal phone calls can be made directly from the room. Pay phones are available in various buildings and it should not be difficulty to access them. In the hall of the main hotel, telephone cards can be purchased directly through a machine.

 Bed & Breakfast (B&B) cost per night is:

-    a single room costs C 38,50;
-    a double room (B&B) costs C 53,00.  

Accommodation Form

Another alternative could be Hotel S. Michele, a very beautiful hotel; it is rated with four stars but it could very well be a five star hotel. Rooms are spacious, finely furnished and have a magnificent view of the Center of Sicily. It takes about ten minutes by taxi to reach the Conference Venue but can be a good choice for someone wishing to stay in a plushy hotel. Please check on www.hotelsanmichelesicilia.it.
